DOSE CAFE - JAZAN

"Café Dose is one of the most widespread coffee shop chains in Saudi Arabia. According to their new direction, we have drawn inspiration from Saudi heritage in our design. This particular branch of Dose is located in the Jazan region on the Red Sea coastline. We have opted for a minimalist and simple design, in addition to using abstract ornaments inspired by the shape of palm leaf . The palm tree is a symbol of the Saudi Arabian kingdom and is one of the most widely distributed trees in the country, holding historical and cultural significance for the Saudi people. These ornaments were applied in a manner reminiscent of traditional gypsum decorations found in ancient Saudi architecture.
As for the connection between the facades and the roof, we drew inspiration from the shape of a palm tree and how its trunk stands upright, with its leaves gracefully arching from the middle. Similarly, the cross-section of the facade features a curved shape that resembles the relationship between a palm tree and its trunk. Additionally, we incorporated some of the previously explained decorations to mimic the palm leaves
